Tencent Marvis Hands-On: Install It and Six AI Workhorses Get to Work for You
Tencent’s Yingyongbao (App Store) team officially launched Marvis in May 2026 — an OS-level AI assistant that pays homage to Iron Man’s Jarvis.
Unlike traditional chatbots, once Marvis is installed you’ll see six little “workhorses” each doing their own job in a virtual office. These are Marvis’s six built-in expert agents, standing by 24/7.
Six Agents: An AI Team That Works for You
Marvis’s most innovative feature is its multi-agent collaboration architecture.
These six agents have clearly defined roles:
- Main Agent (PM): Listens to your needs, breaks down tasks, and assigns them to the right specialists.
- File Agent: Handles file search, reading, format conversion, and document generation.
- Computer Agent: Manages low-level Windows configuration, hardware detection, and startup items.
- App Agent: Can invoke any application or EXE program on your computer.
- Browser Agent: Takes over web pages for data scraping and interaction.
- Search Agent: Finds information from public sources and includes citations.
When you issue a command, these agents work in parallel.
For example, say “help me figure out which startup programs are useless and turn them off.” The Main Agent will coordinate multiple sub-agents at the same time to analyze the different programs, present its suggestions, and ask for your confirmation before actually executing anything.

- Cloud capabilities are only invoked when necessary

Marvis supports Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, with seamless sync across devices under the same account.
You can view your computer’s screen directly on your phone and take over operations in real time.
